As the President and Chief Executive Officer of Frisbie Memorial Hospital, I'd like to introduce you to our comprehensive care and services, and to talk about the core differences that our patients, medical staff and employees experience every day.

Access to the latest innovations provides our staff with the tools they need. At Frisbie Memorial Hospital, we constantly invest in new technology to help in better diagnosis and treatment. Our Electronic Medical Records system gives our patients, our practices and our Emergency Department access to our patients' medical history to ensure patient safety. Our new 64-slice CT scanner will allow us to look at patients with new precision and light speed scan times. Intellidose^® and Mediware^®  will safeguard chemotherapy and pharmaceutical functions. PACS (Patient Archival Communications System) will better manage patient medical records and diagnostics. Our new technology is everywhere.

These core differences show in the broad range of services we offer to our community, and in the expertise of our medical staff — 250 physicians and health care providers with combined experience in 39 areas of specialty. Our providers offer excellence in trauma, surgery, cardiovascular care, radiology, respiratory care, and women's health. Our oncology services are provided by board-certified oncologists and a hematologist from the prestigious Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

As your community hospital, we're committed to providing you with the care you need, whether it's BirthCare, Same-Day Surgery, Emergency Services or Outpatient Rehabilitation. We always assist you in getting all the specialty services and expertise you may need, whether it is within our network or available nearby. And, of course, to make your health care convenient, Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Department of Primary Care offers local access to many primary care practices located throughout the area.

For more than 85 years, Frisbie Memorial Hospital has been providing outstanding health care to the people of Rochester and its surrounding communities. That dedication continues.
