Frisbie Memorial Hospital's ability to excel at caring for the community depends on its people. That's why we invest in our workforce and reward employees for exceptional performance — and why we offer a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package.

Our benefits program is designed with you—the individual in mind. Employees in positions requiring at least 32 hours per week are considered full time and are eligible to participate in all benefits described. Part time employees hired to work a minimum of 20 hours per week also enjoy a full array of benefits.

Health Insurance

We know that "one size doesn't fit all," therefore we offer you the choice between two medical plans.

Each PPO plan has been carefully designed to help you cut costs by reducing your out-of-pocket expense through freedom of choice. You decide where to receive your care—inside or outside the Frisbie Network.

You automatically receive a prescription drug card at no additional cost when you enroll in Frisbie's medical plan.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is provided through Northeast Delta Dental, New Hampshire's premier provider of dental coverage.

Full and part time employees are eligible to participate in the Health and Dental programs effective on the first of the month following date of hire.

Vision Program

A discount program is offered in conjunction with Frisbie's dental plan and gives you access to providers (including optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians) nationwide at 16,000 locations. This program includes leading optical retailers including LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical and Target Optical. A bi-annual benefit is also available through Frisbie's health plan.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Full and part time employees may elect to participate in Frisbie's Flexible Spending plan effective the first of the month following date of hire. Participation in Frisbie's Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts allows you to set aside pre-determined dollars in order to pay health and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is provided at no cost to you as a full time employee.

Supplemental life insurance is also available to you and your dependents on a voluntary basis. Coverage is portable so if you leave the organization or change to an ineligible class, you may convert your Supplemental Life coverage to an individual plan at non-group rates. Eligibility is subject to underwriting approval.

Short Term Disability Insurance

Short term disability insurance is available to full time employees on a voluntary basis and designed to replace 60% of your weekly pay subject to plan maximums starting on the eighth day of a non-work related disability. Duration of benefit is 13 weeks.

Long Term Disability Insurance

Long term disability insurance provides coverage protection to full time employees a total disability extends beyond 90 days. Benefit is 66.6% of covered monthly earnings and continues to normal retirement age contingent upon continued total disability. Provided at no cost to employees.

Employee Health & Wellness

Pre-employment physical, annual screenings, urgent care while at work and immunizations including flu shots are provided free of charge. Ongoing and specific wellness/ health promotion activities include ergonomics, smoking cessation and fitness incentives, as well as the Annual Benefits and Wellness Fair.

Work injuries are minimized through coordinated efforts of the Ergonomics Team, Safety Committee and Infection Control Committee. Work injuries that occur are treated promptly on site. Safe return to work is coordinated with managers.

403(b) Retirement Plan

Participation in Frisbie's retirement plan is offered and encouraged immediately upon hire. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary match following two years of employment in which they have worked a minimum of 1,000 hours.

Tuition Assistance

Full and part time employees may apply for tuition assistance for undergraduate and certain graduate courses which are related to the employee's current job or specifically relate to reasonable career options for the employee within the organization.

Paid Time-Off Program

Everyone needs time away from work – whether to take care of personal matters, to relax, or to recover from an illness or injury. With Paid Time Off (PTO), you have flexibility.

Under the PTO program, your vacation, holidays and sick days are combined into one bank of hours. You accrue time each pay period. You can use it the pay period after you accrue it or save it and use it later. That way, you can use the hours in your PTO bank to schedule time off when you need it … for reasons that are important to you.

Employee Assistance Program

Frisbie's Employee Assistance Program offered by Anthem EAP is designed to provide confidential assistance to employees with problems related to family/marital discord, emotional disturbances, financial difficulties, stress management, dependency, etc. This benefit is free to employees and their household members.

Section 529 Savings Plan

Frisbie's Scholar's Choice Plan is an investment program which provides a tax-advantaged way for employees to invest for a child or loved one's education.
