Community-Based Nutrition Program

Frisbie Memorial Hospital understands that living a healthy and active life means eating balanced and nutritious meals, engaging in physical activity and planning annual visits with your primary care physician.

Healthy MovesThe licensed and registered dietitians of Frisbie's Food and Nutrition Services continue to educate the community about the benefits of healthful eating at Frisbie's Community Health Education Series and Health Fairs.

In addition, Frisbie's Food and Nutrition Services department collaborates with area school departments to help educate students on the benefits of a healthy diet and regular exercise. Frisbie's Healthy Moves is a school-based nutrition and physical activity program designed to help children improve food choices and increase physical activity. The eight-week program is run by licensed and registered dietitians who educate students on nutrition while a physical therapy assistant educates students on the benefits of exercise.
