School-Based Dental Education
Frisbie Memorial Hospital launched its School-Based Dental Education Program in 1999 to help improve the dental health of children in six communities:
- Rochester
- Somersworth
- Barrington
- Farmington
- Milton
- Lebanon, Maine
Because good dental habits begin at an early age, our dental hygienists visit grades one through three to educate children about good oral hygiene. In addition, children who do not have a dentist are eligible for dental screenings, cleanings and sealants.
The School-Based Dental Health Program has educated over 2,400 children about the basics of good dental health care while providing access to important dental services. To learn more about our School-Based Dental Health Program, please call (603) 332-3100 x 4414.
