BirthCare
The birth of your child is an important turning point in your life that requires you to make many important decisions. One of them is selecting the right OB/GYN and hospital for your baby's birth. At Frisbie Memorial Hospital, we offer all the services you and your family expect; delivered with compassion and caring. Our goal is to make your birthing experience memorable and fulfilling.
Of course, you and your baby will have access to the medical expertise and technology that makes the BirthCare center at Frisbie Memorial Hospital the choice of so many women in the area. That expertise starts with your ability to choose from the highly qualified and patient-focused OB/GYN physicians. These physicians choose to practice at Frisbie Memorial Hospital because of our dedication to excellent care.
Our Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum approach to birthcare (where the mom stays in one location throughout the labor, delivery and postpartum stages) assures you and your family great comfort. Our private rooms offer family members peace during visits, and include private bathrooms, a refrigerator, telephone, TV, as well as a sleeper chair for an overnight guest.
At Frisbie Memorial Hospital, we understand that caring for you and your baby goes beyond just the birth itself. That's why we also provide extensive support before, during, and after your baby is born, including comprehensive prenatal education, hypnobirthing, and a mom-to-mom support group.

Because new parents often have lots of questions during the first days after bringing their baby home, we can arrange for a visiting nurse to stop by and briefly examine your baby and answer any questions you may have. We offer a variety of educational classes. Please view our class brochure for more information.
For immediate family members, visiting hours are 24/7. General visiting hours are daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
