Cardiology Services
Utilizing the latest technology, our modern hospital provides a comprehensive array of cardiac-testing services to better evaluate heart function. Here, our highly skilled care team provides inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiac testing, including:
- Echocardiography
- Stress testing
- EKG
- Holter and event monitoring
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
Additionally, our new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides leading-edge cardiac diagnostics performed by board-certified cardiologists. Cardiac catheterization involves the insertion of a thin plastic tube (catheter) into a blood vessel of an arm or leg where it is advanced up to the heart where it evaluates:
- Blood flow in the arteries that feed the heart
- Blood flow and blood pressure in the chambers of the heart
- How well the heart valves work
- How well the heart functions
There are currently over 13 million people living with heart disease in the United States alone. Accurate diagnostic testing plays a key role in helping physicians to provide optimum care for their patients living with such conditions as:
- Angina
- Coronary artery disease
- Heart failure
- Valvular heart disease
- Rheumatic heart disease

Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Our outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed to help advance the care of patients recovering from a heart attack or cardiac surgical procedure. A combination of supervised exercise sessions and educational programs regarding heart-healthy living practices gives patients the opportunity to regain health and reduce risk factors. A physician referral is required for participation in the program.
