Geriatric Psychiatry Inpatient services provides round-the-clock care for adults, age 65 years and older, diagnosed with dementia (Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia) behavioral issues, anxiety, depression and other forms of mental illness. We accept referrals from many sources, including family caregivers, health care providers, home care agencies, mental health centers, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Our team is comprised of geriatric psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists and OT/PT staff all working together to address the mental, physical, and social needs of our patients.
Inpatient Visiting Hours:
Visitors are asked to come on weekdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and on weekends from 1 to 8 p.m. Exceptions are made based upon special needs of patients or their families. Please discuss your needs with the nurse when your loved one is admitted. When entering, visitors are asked to report to the nursing station.
