Urology

Gateway Urology, PA brings experience and expertise when diagnosing and treating problems related to the urinary tract for both men and women and the prostate for men.

Gateway Urology is also the Seacoast region’s premier group practice for performing minimally invasive no-scalpel vasectomy, a safe and effective procedure that can be done in less than ten minutes with little patient discomfort.

When to call the Urologist:
Many health problems related to kidney, bladder or prostate gland go untreated due to embarrassment or simply because we want to “wish” the symptoms away. But there is no need to suffer in silence. Today, most conditions treated by urologists can be corrected without surgery and lengthy stays in the hospital.
Some signs to look for that may signal a problem related to a medical condition of the bladder and kidney include:

  • Frequent and/or painful urination
  • Blood in urine
  • Unusual urine color and/or odor
  • Leaking small amounts of urine
  • Lump in abdomen
  • Persistent low back pain
  • Loss of appetite and/or sudden weight loss
  • Fever and chills
