Our mission is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of person-centered support for individuals with alcohol and drug addiction, and mental health challenges, to promote the whole health and resiliency of the residents of the greater Rochester community.
Who we serve:
Those with a substance use disorder, or mental health condition, their friends, family, advocates and supporters.
What we do:
The Rochester Community Recovery Center answers the simple question, “How can I help you with your recovery today?”
We seek to provide a central establishment where people in recovery from all walks of life can feel accepted, inspired, and hopeful. With the support of their local community, people can begin to feel empowered to make real change in their lives, and to be able to overcome a multitude of challenges.
We aim to be a central hub in the local recovery community. We provide person-centered support for individuals with alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health challenges, as well as a 24/7 Community Access to Recovery program to help link people to appropriate resources and supports in the community.
The Recovery Center is an ever changing and growing program. In order to serve the diverse needs of the community, members have a voice as to how the program is run, and what types of groups/ supports are offered. Groups/ classes aim to enhance the living, learning, working, and social needs of the community in order to help people increase their own vision of wellness.
Types of Supports/Classes:
- Recovery Coaching
- Peer-to-Peer Support services
- Job search assistance
- Telephone Recovery support
- Community led groups/activities which focus on Education, Employment, Health and Wellness, Life Skills, Coping/Symptom Management, and “Sober” Social activities
- 24/7 Community Access to Recovery Program
