Frisbie Welcomes Executive Director of Fund Development, Sandra Phipps, CFRE (1/25/2010)

Frisbie Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Sandra Phipps as the Executive Director of Fund Development. Ms. Phipps, a native of Dover, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive who will provide leadership to Frisbie’s philanthropy program and will also provide oversight to Volunteer Services. Ms. Phipps is a specialist in nonprofit fundraising, governance, and management, and has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1997 as staff, trainer, and consultant. Ms. Phipps previously served as a California-based Consultant to nonprofit organizations with a focus on developing and implementing sustainable fundraising and communications strategies. She also served as Executive Director of Giving Monadnock, and as Director of Membership and Development for the Harris Center for Conservation Education, both located in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. Ms. Phipps received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY, and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England, Keene, NH. Ms. Phipps has served on the Board of Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in New Hampshire, where she held the positions of Development Committee Chair, Governance Committee Chair, and Secretary. Past volunteer service includes the Monadnock Conservancy, The Samaritans, MOCO Arts, and Monadnock United Way. Ms. Phipps is the daughter of former Dover resident Helen Phipps who served on the City of Dover School Board and City Council and as the Executive Director of the Dover Adult Learning Center, and the late Albert Phipps.
