Unique to other primary care practices, Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Department of Primary Care providers are able to capture patient health information on an Electronic Medical Records system, ensuring that you and your family stay up to date on important annual screenings and medications. This record is able to be read at any primary care practice and also at Frisbie Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department, providing comprehensive care whether you are visiting your primary care provider or the hospital.

• Family medicine providers specialize in treating acute and chronic illnesses by providing preventive care and health education for men, women, and children of all ages. Because family history and heredity factors provide significant information in determining a patient's health status, having a single physician treat all members of a family can be beneficial.
• Internal medicine providers, or internists, are trained in the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. Internal medicine focuses on adult patients, and practices do not treat patients under the age of 18.
