Center for Cancer Care

A cancer diagnosis can be an overwhelming and frightening experience - the uncertainty of what lies ahead, or the loss of control over everday life. With Frisbie Memorial Hospital's expanded clinical affiliation with Lahey Clinic, patients have the added comfort of knowing that comprehensive cancer care is now available, close to home.

The Center for Cancer Care at Frisbie Memorial is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of specialists working together to provide innovative care to patients. Now, oncologists have access to Lahey Clinic's advanced clinical training, and the opportunity to participate on Lahey Clinic's Tumor Boards, which will afford direct access to specialists during patient case reviews. With the recommendation of the oncologists, patients will also have access to Lahey's clinical trials, which evaluate new and innovative cancer treatments.

In addition to accessing this leading expertise, we offer the latest cancer treatments in a comfortable setting, including:
  • Chemotherapy treatment
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy
  • Bone marrow biopsies
  • Clinically supportive cancer treatments
  • Referrals to local radiation treatment centers
