Geriatric Psychiatry - Inpatient
Inpatient services of the Geriatric Psychiatry program at Frisbie Memorial Hospital specialize in diagnosing and providing medical care to adults, age 65 years and older, who are struggling with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, behavioral issues, major depression or mental illness. We accept referrals from many sources, including family caregivers, health care providers, home care agencies, mental health centers, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Our team is comprised of geriatric psychiatrists, a nurse practitioner, nurses, social workers, and therapists working together to help patients live as comfortably as possible.
