Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs are designed to help patients improve their health and feeling of wellbeing through regular exercise sessions and education. Our goal is to help patients manage chronic disease and reduce risk factors for future problems.

Our nationally accredited Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed to help advance the care of patients recovering from a heart attack or cardiac surgical procedure. Participants learn about lifestyle modifications that can lessen their risk for future cardiac events.

The program is staffed with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and other professional staff.  This interdisciplinary team works with every patient to develop an individualized treatment plan that is designed to help each person meet their personal health and wellness goals.

Program sessions are three times each week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for several weeks. Sessions consist of supervised exercise, health education presentations and one-to-one discussions with the program staff.

Referring New Patients
A physician referral is required for participation in the program. Referring physicians approve the program's plan of care for each of their patients and receive periodic reports on their progress.

Insurance coverage for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services varies. Please check with your insurance carrier to find out if these services are covered under your plan.
