We specialize in the treatment of acute illness and chronic health conditions by providing preventative care and health education for men, women and children.  Because family history is an important factor in determining patients' health status, having a single physician treat all members of the family is a plus! We offer complete health care services by appointment for the entire family, including but not limited to:
  • Annual routine physicals
  • Childhood immunizations
  • Referrals to other health care specialists
  • Prescription refills
  • Same day acute care visits often possible

Established patients of Family Care of Somersworth have the added convenience of:

  • Early evening appointments (Open Tuesdays until 7pm)
  • Onsite laboratory services (Opens at 7am)
  • Onsite Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

Payment and Insurance: All major insurance carriers are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Prescription Information: There is a 24- business hour turnaround for prescription renewals and refills. Requests cannot be filled after normal office hours. Please try to plan ahead so you do not run out of medication at night or on the weekend.

Alexander Asch, DO
Dr. Asch received his doctor of osteopathy degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997. He completed his residency in family practice medicine in 2001 as part of a primary care program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Asch most recently joins us from Bensalem Family Health Center, based in Bensalem, PA., where he has worked in both the family practice and urgent care settings. 

Tuesday, Renner, MD
Dr. Renner completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Renner was a family practice resident at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, and most recently joins us from Edwards Air Force Base in California, where she was a staff family physician. Dr. Renner is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Christopher Bustamante, MD
Dr. Bustamante earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines, and completed his residency from Penn State University/Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Dr. Bustamante is board certified in Family Medicine.

Tom Cormican, LICSW
Tom Cormican, LICSW earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Franklin Pierce College in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and a Master of Social Work from the University of New Hampshire. He has experience working closely with patients with depression, anxiety, everday stress, ADHD and individuals living with addiction.
