The office of Rochester Obstetrics & Gynecology offers comprehensive and compassionate obstetrical and gynecological services in a warm and welcoming environment. We offer state of the art technology and expertise with the comfort of soft fleece robes in a quiet comfortable setting. Our kind and caring staff ensures you are treated with compassion, professionalism and respect. We offer care at every stage of a women's life, and provide a wide range of services, including:
  • Low and high-risk pregnancy care and deliveries
  • Routine annual exams
  • Colposcopy – an evaluation after an abnormal pap smear
  • Laparoscopy
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Initial infertility evaluations
  • Endometrial ablations
  • Urinary incontinence evaluation and treatment

For patients considering starting a family, or those requiring inpatient gynecologic services, you will find the new Gustafson Center for Women and Children's Health at Frisbie Memorial Hospital comfortable and pleasant. The Center will make your birthing experience fulfilling and memorable.

We participate in a wide variety of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Rochester Obstetrics & Gynecology Physicians:
Heidi MacVittie, MD
Dr. MacVittie received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
John Mirabello, MD
Dr. Mirabello earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Michelle Ciarlo, MD
Dr. Ciarlo earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies and completed her residency at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey where she was Chief Administrative Resident from 2013 to 2014, a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee and a member of the Resident Research Committee.

Dr. Ciarlo is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
