Ask the Experts

We believe in providing parents and patients with up-to-date health information, including tips for healthy snackinggetting a good night's sleep, and what to do when your child has the common cold. To learn more about these subjects, please contact our office.

Infant and newborn care

Included in our newborn care are the following services:
  • High risk deliveries
  • Daily nursery visits
  • Circumcisions
  • Breast feeding support
  • Educational lectures at prenatal classes and the Mommies and Me class series

Well-child visits

One of the main focuses of our practice is the well-child visit. Despite the current trends in other practices, we have kept the length of our well-child visits from 20 to 30 minutes. We feel that this time is very important to allow ample opportunity to fully discuss growth, development and health issues of your child.

Well-child visits are scheduled several months in advance and can be made with the physician of your choice. We call 2-3 days prior to confirm appointments. Any appointment canceled without 24 hour notice will be subject to a charge.

Consultation visits

All of our physicians are experienced in dealing with complex medical issues such as asthma, allergies, ADHD, anxiety, depression and other chronic disorders.

Sick-child visits and emergencies

The office is open Saturday mornings for emergency advice or sick-visit appointments. For after office hour emergencies, a doctor is available on-call 24 hours a day, and the answering service can be reached by calling (603) 332-0238.We see sick children on a scheduled basis, so if you feel that your child will need to be seen, we ask that you call as early in the day as possible. We make every attempt to keep as close to our schedule as possible. We ask for your understanding if emergencies arise and cause unforeseen delays.

Telephone consults

Our nurses are available for your calls during regular business hours. They will discuss your concerns, offer advice or consult with the physician if necessary. We ask that all calls of a non-emergent nature (such as lab results, routine appointments or minor medical concerns) be made during regular business hours.

Billing and policies

  • Payment Policy
Rochester Pediatric Associates has established a payment at time of service policy for all appointments, unless we participate with your insurance plan. We accept assignment from most insurance companies. If your insurance requies a co-pay, it will be collected at the time of services. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check and credit/debit cards.
  • Medication Refills
If you need your child's medication refilled please call with your information. Once we receive your request, medications will be refilled in three days. If you require medication for ADHD to be refilled please call at least seven days before you are going to be out of medication. Since these are controlled substances, they cannot be called into a pharmacy. The prescription can be picked up at the office.
  • No-Show Policy
Our office has a strict no-show policy. Please make every effort to keep your appointment. If you miss more than three visits without at least a 24 hour notification and a valid reason, we will close your account. New patients who miss their first scheduled appointment without a valid reason may also not be rescheduled.
