The Lahey Institue of Urology
The clincial affiliation between Lahey Clinic, based in Burlington, Mass., and Frisbie Memorial Hospital for urologic care has brought additional medical expertise right to our community. Lahey Clinic has developed a strong reputation for its clinical affiliations with community hospitals and physicians by bringing world-class care to the community, while keeping the patients at their local hospital whenever possible.
Lahey is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation's top hospitals for urology. Now, four Lahey-trained physicians are on staff and practicing at Frisbie Memorial.
The Lahey Institute of Urology at Frisbie Memorial is treating kidney stones and select prostate conditions using minimal access surgery and technology (MAST). In addition, the Lahey team offers treatment for female incontinence and cancer diagnosis and treatment. Frisbie Memorial has the most state-of-the-art imaging equipment in the region, and this technology, in combination with Lahey urologists' experience and training, means Frisbie Memorial patients greatly benefit from the affiliation, experiencing the most advanced care without having to leave town.
