The Auxiliary’s 31st annual “Lights of Love” ceremony was held on December 6 at Frisbie’s Conference Center. The Lights of Love is a holiday tradition where people gather to honor and remember loved ones in a special way. With each $5 donation, a “love light” was placed on the Lights of Love tree, which would shine during the Tree Lighting ceremony and on through the holiday season.

Jane Cooper-Fall, Lights of Love chair, announced that the star atop the rooftop tree was placed in memory of Michael Roberts, a long-time Lights of Love caroler. The Conference Center treetop star was lit in memory of Auxilian Past-President, Betty White.

Strands of lights were placed in memory of the following people who have contributed to the Frisbie community: Elaine Mallaber (former volunteer), Ruth Meader (former Auxilian) and Marie Baughman (former employee).

This year’s Lights of Love ceremony raised nearly $8,000, which will be used to support patient resources and services and fund the annual Auxiliary Healthcare Student Scholarship.
