32nd Annual Lights of Love
Presented by the Frisbie Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Lights of Love is a holiday tradition where people gather to honor and remember loved ones in a special way. With each $5 donation, a light will be placed on the Lights of Love tree, to shine at the Tree Lighting ceremony and through the holiday season. The Lights of Love program will feature the Lights of Love Carolers, refreshments, and the Tree Lighting ceremony. Event proceeds will be used to support patient resources.
This year’s star atop the rooftop tree will be placed in memory of Dr. Alexander Smith, who had served the greater Rochester community since 1952 as a family physician. Dr. Smith had also served on Frisbie’s Medical Staff. The Conference Center treetop star will be lit in memory of Dr. Peter Ejarque, a past member of Frisbie’s Medical Staff.
Strands of lights will be placed in memory of the following people who have contributed to the Frisbie community: Thomas Perry (former volunteer) and Mary Miltner (former Auxilian).
Special Memorial Tribute
Jane Cooper Fall, the founder of Lights of Love and its driving force, passed away on October 18, 2018. In recognition of Jane’s dedication to the hospital and the community, we invite you to join us as we include a special tribute to Jane in this year’s Lights of Love celebration.
Jane was a dedicated volunteer and champion of Frisbie Memorial Hospital for more than 60 years, including serving on the Board of Trustees for 34 years and as President of the Auxiliary for 13 years. Frisbie was just one of the organizations to benefit from Jane’s commitment, spirit and generosity. The Rochester area is truly a better place because of Jane.
