MRI, CT Scans, Ultrasounds, and Other Diagnostic Imaging

The diagnostic imaging team at Frisbie Memorial Hospital cares about your safety, privacy and comfort. All exams are performed by a registered technologists and/or registered diagnostic medical sonographers operating under radiologist supervision, in a warm and friendly environment. Radiologists read exams every day so your results are usually available to your provider within 24 hours.

Nuclear MedicineSpecialized metabolic imaging of many conditions, including cancer involving skeletal, pulmonary, renal, hepatic, lymphatic, neuroendrine, and cardiac systems. Therapy treatment available for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer. Exam preparation information can be found here.Dual head variable angle SPECT Gamma camera; shorter imaging times. X-RayImages of bone, chest and abdomen for disease and injury. Fluoroscopic procedures are available.Walk-in X-ray seven days a week; Fluoroscopy is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain real-time moving images of the internal structures of a patient through the use of a fluoroscope. A physician order is required for a fluoroscopic procedure.General radiology services (chest or extremity X-ray, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day); Fluoroscopy, Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm

Off-site outpatient imaging

  • White Mountain Medical Center: X-ray walk-ins Monday – Saturday, 8:30am – 6:00pm
  • Barrington Walk-In Care: X-ray walk-ins Monday – Sunday, 7:00am – 7:00pm (excludes holidays).
  • Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Bone Density Studies performed at Women’s Life Imaging Center in Somersworth.
