Occupational Therapy

Occupational rehabilitation deals with the prevention or correction of disorders involving locomotor structures of the body, especially the skeleton, joints, muscles, ligaments and cartilage. In occupational therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation is limited to evaluation and treatment of the upper extremity. Cervical screens are routinely performed to rule out involvement of, or injury to, the cervical spine.
