LSVT LOUD Program

LSVT LOUD is a Speech Therapy program developed to improve vocal abilities for those individuals with Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s-like diagnoses. The program was developed specifically to improve vocal loudness, intonation, and voice quality by stimulating the muscles of the voice box and speech mechanism through specialized exercise techniques. Vocal improvements have been shown to be maintained nearly two years after treatment.

The LSVT LOUD program is individualized to meet each person’s specific needs, consisting of, over the course of four weeks, a total of 16 one-on-one sessions with activities performed daily at home and carryover exercises to maximize outcomes. Our goal is to empower individuals with the potential to improve.
