In the lab at our hospital, we address your health concern by conducting necessary tests and procedures in a comfortable, compassionate setting.
About our lab
Our diagnostic lab is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the phlebotomists, technologists and pathologists who work in our facility specialize in chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and pathology. This level of expertise allows them to deliver services that include blood drawing and coagulation. We also safely collect and store your blood in our blood bank as needed, which enables our team to test, separate and preserve it for later to meet your potential medical needs.
Tests are performed on-site once specimens are received in the lab. All specimens collected elsewhere will be performed the same day. Some tests are done at outside testing facilities or approved reference labs.
We also offer statistical testing (STAT), which is performed when a test result is needed quickly in order to make critical treatment decisions. STAT requests should be limited to emergency, life-threatening situations. These results will be available within 60 minutes of collection. Most routine tests performed in our lab will be available within four hours.
