Our pulmonary care program
By using unique resources, our skilled pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, surgeons and nurses can deliver a full range of services.
Advanced diagnostic technology
We typically use an endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) to diagnose your pulmonary condition. During this minimally invasive procedure, we use ultrasound technology to produce images in real time, enabling us to obtain samples from the lungs and surrounding tissues.
An EBUS offers potential benefits, such as:
- Higher image quality
- Increased accuracy
- Reduced recovery time
- Same-day discharge
- Smaller incisions
Comprehensive pulmonology services
Our lung doctors, known as pulmonologists, use the latest diagnostic imaging techniques and treatments. We also offer smoking cessation classes and teach you how to prevent and care for your symptoms.
Treatment for lung cancer
We take a collaborative approach to lung cancer, working closely with the specialists at our chest center to diagnose and treat your condition.
Treatment for pulmonary-related sleep disorders
At our hospital, we have a sleep center that's accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. This is where our specialized team performs diagnostic testing and treatments for a wide range of sleep disorders, including those that may be related to pulmonary conditions.
While you will typically be referred to us by your PCP, you can also schedule an appointment by calling us directly at (603) 994-0013.
